Shampoo and Conditioner Review

05/09/2015

Hey guys,

I thought I would do a little review of the recent hair care products I've used. For this post I'm talking strictly shampoo and conditioners. I hope that these reviews help you make an informed decision next time you buy shampoo or conditioner (wow well that sounded hella formal).

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner:
As the label reads this does keep your hair lighter. For me it didn't actually make my hair lighter, it just kept it from going darker. This shampoo did make my hair oily but that will depend on your hair type. As I learnt the hard way, it is not good for oily hair. All in all it is a good shampoo and conditioner, just not for my hair type.

Toni & Guy Cleanse shampoo and Nourish conditioner:
The shampoo smells amaazzzing. It makes my hair super smooth and soft. I really enjoyed the product. Th only problem was the packaging, t is TERRIBLE. To open it you are supposed to push down one side of the lip and the other will pop up, visa-versa. BUT, the push side fell off and I couldn't fix it. I thought that might have been my fault because I had struggled to open it at first, but then the other fell off. That was when I knew it wasn't my fault and the packaging was just awful. I now have to take the lip off very time I use it *growl*.

Matrix Biolage Volumebloom Shampoo and Conditioner:
This shampoo and conditioner is brilliant for oily hair. It completely fixed my hair problems (dry scalp, oily hair). The packaging is great, no complaints there and all in all this is probably my favourite shampoo and conditioner I have tried.

Lots of love,
Beauty Spot xx
